Dating from the Seventeenth Century, Wroxton House Hotel, originally the Manor House of Wroxton St.Mary, has been lovingly restored to create a traditional, tranquil country house in a delightful, peaceful village offering excellent service and a friendly, informal atmosphere.
 
Ideal for visiting the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick Castle. Close by is Rye Hill Golf Club which offers guests of the hotel discounted green fees. For the business traveller, the hotel is just a 5 minute drive away from the centre of Banbury where companies such as Kraft, Lloyds TSB and Hella are situated.

Our intimate restaurant, set in three adjoining rooms, creates a Cotswold atmosphere with original beams, inglenooks, carved oak recesses, horse brasses and pewter.

  • Starter, Homemade Soup of the Day. Grilled Goats Cheese with a Sun dried Tomato Crust & a Balsamic Syrup. Chilled Fan of Galia Melon with Forest Berries & an Orange Sauce.
  • Main Course, Braised Lamb Shank with Root Vegetables & a Mustard Mash. Oven Roasted Fillet of Cod with a Lemon & Dill Crust, served with Saute Cucumber & a Beurre Blanc. Char grilled Entrecote Steak coated in an Oyster Mushroom, Peppercorn & Whisky Sauce. A Filo Pastry Parcel filled with Mediterranean Vegetables & Goats Cheese, rested on a Tomato & Basil Passatta. Baked Pork Cutlet served on a Rosti Potato topped with a Red Onion Marmalade and served with a Red Wine Jus.
